Novensys participates at Digital Agenda conference in Romania

Bucharest, July 11, 2011 - Novensys participates at the first edition of the Digital Agenda conference in Romania, with the presentation "Reinventing Public Administration Processes", presented by Andrei Caunii, Managing Partner Novensys. The conference took place at the Hotel Athenee Palace Hilton, under the patronage of the Romanian Presidency, supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information and the Informational Society and the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications.

"Reinventing processes in public administration is what Romania needs now to evolve, and Novensys wanted from the beginning an active involvement in developing and implementing projects of this type. ERovinieta project, developed and implemented for the National Company of Motorways and National Roads in Romania, a project nominated for European IT Excellence Awards 2011, is one of the representative examples of our involvement in information system development in our country", said Andrei Caunii, Managing Partner Novensys.

To exit the current crisis and to prepare Romania for the next decade a key factor is developing the information society by promoting digital governance, knowledge, innovation and education, the development of competitive production, with a more efficient use of resources, with greater participation on the labor market by acquiring skills and fighting poverty.

Digital Agenda is an opportunity for Romania to develop in the context of Romania's Digital Agenda for Europe. The conference is organized by the Association for Information Society Development and Finmedia, with the guest of honor Neelie Kroes - Vice-President of the European Commission, European Commissioner for Digital Agenda.

"ADSI's mission is to develop the relationship between the public environment and the private sector to bring direct benefits to citizens by developing electronic government systems, in particular, and the development of information society in general. We welcome the participation of Novensys at the Digital Agenda for Romania, Novensys being one of the most important Romanian companies getting involved in improving public administration processes", said Mr. Constantin Surdu, event coordinator and president of the Association for the Development of Information Society.

Participants at the event include politics decision makers, representatives and top experts in the field of information society development in Romania, representatives of central public administration.
