Coelco has implemented the Novensys for Warehouse solution

Bucharest, 7 July 2011 - In the base of the partnership with its best suppliers in the field and with its own solutions, Novensys announces the implementation at Coelco, electric low and medium devices distributor, of a complete software solution which includes the Novensys Warehouse solution and specialized hardware equipments.

   
For resolving management problems of the goods stock, tracking the stocks rotation, localizing the goods in the warehouse, tracking the deliveries and tracing, Coelco has implemented the complete warehouse management informatics solution. As a specific implementation, the solution also manages the stock in the production area, the application covering the production activity of the company by following the consumed materials according to the programe, and also the goods transfer to the other locations in the warehouse.

"When it comes to the advantages Novensys offered us by implementing the Novensys for Warehouse solution it's hard to stop only at one. For us, it mattered very much the possibility to quickly identify three goods in the warehouse, to know exactly where to find it, and we no longer have to rely only on the operator's knowledge", declared Narcis Stremtan, IT Director Coelco, adding: "We can not put aside the expertise and efforts of the Novensys consultants to come up with practical ideas and customize our needs, a good example is the way we display the goods in the warehouse now. The implementation project was supported by European funding, the solution that Novensys had proposed was selected following a public tender, the selection criteria were technical and financial mix. The Novensys solution responded best to the logistics business requirements in the Coelco activity and most advantageous offer in terms of both technical and financial perspective.

Novensys consultants have complied with the Coelco requirements, and also came up with new ideas and improved logistics flow by rearranging the merchandise in the store and data transmission from offer to the distribution network. The project implementation was the final stage in training the Coelco representatives in utilizing the Novensys for Warehouse solution. The training addressed the users of the warehouse, production department and management and technical administrators of the solution, that took place in several stages that included both practical training and further evaluation of the gained knowledge.
