Solutions that ensure operational efficiency – Novensys for Assets

What does Novensys offer in this sense?

Romeo Iacob: In time, Novensys developed a series of specialized applications, incorporated in the Novensys for Management suite, which have received the markets approval from well-known customers like ING, Brithouse, Dedeman, Selgros, Spar, Sprider, Aquila, Konica, Danubius, Saint Gobain and others. For these companies, coming from different activity fields, the need to implement an application for inventory was given by the growing number of assets and inventory objects they posses. Our specialized solution, Novensys for Assets, is a tool specially developed to automate asset and inventory objects stock-taking operations, offering the possibility to increase operational efficiency, through faster data collection, accuracy and safety of data storage. The raise of efficiency is ensured by a complete range of functionalities such as: management of master data lists, complex management of assets and inventory objects, label printing, stock-taking by categories, locations and people, calculating monthly depreciation etc. The solution permits synchronization of data from data bases and mobile computers and their gathering in customizable reports; the solution can function on its own or together with other ERP or in-house systems.

You speak about an increase in operational efficiency, how does it actually come to live?

Romeo Iacob:  Novensys for Assets gives the opportunity of both highlighting assets and their depreciation and of tracking and registering their monthly movement.  By means of our solution, one can automatically print asset sheets, generate/create patrimony management reports, separately decollate every asset or inventory object, remove assets from the evidence etc.  All these functionalities generate the diminishing of the labor volume necessary to fulfill the inventory process, due to effortless usage.  A single person using a mobile computer is enough to complete the inventory process.  Gains in terms of costs and time are generated by these more efficient operations, supported by the significant reduction of human errors.

Novensys for Assets is not a unique solutions, it has been specially developed for quite a few business areas. Why did you choose this approach?

Romeo Iacob: Based on the know-how of the Novensys teams and taking in consideration our customer's requests, our specialists have designed particular developments of the solution in order to meet the needs of customers from various business areas. These developments represent a major gain for our customers, by reducing the time spent on implementation and on configuring particular customizations for certain business sectors. At this point, Novensys for Assets has specific developments for courier activities, with a successful implementation at TNT, for telecom, where we managed to attract to our portfolio one of the market leaders, Orange, for banking, with implementations at ING and KBC and for services (IT, outsourcing etc.), where I would like to mention as customers Tech Team Romania and Belgium, Intrarom and Sodexho Pass.
