Novensys in Mass Media

Novensys doubled its business in first semester 2007

24.07.2007

Novensys, player on the Romanian information management market,
increased its business by more than 137 percent in the first half of
2007. The company registered net sales worth €5.8 million by the end of
June 2007, compared to €2.4 million posted in H1 2006. Company
officials estimate a €12-13 million turnover for 2007.

According to Cezar Golumbeanu, Managing Partner Novensys, the company's
net sales increased due to the introduction of new solutions to its
product and service portfolio, including two customer relation
management products, CRM and Loyalty, the Warehouse Management System,
and one solution for the food industry. Another explanation is
increased demand for software and equipment logistics and production.
"For the next three years, the company targets net sales exceeding
€30 million, and we intend to achieve this by adopting new top
technologies in the field. We are considering SAP and Oracle for 2008"
, said Golumbeanu.

"At present, equipment and consumables make up the highest
percentage of Novensys net sales. Based on opportunities available on
the market, we estimate that this percentage will be balanced by
revenues from services in the coming years"
, he added. Private
companies represent 95 percent of the company's client portfolio. Of
these, 80 percent are large and medium-sized companies. Novensys posted
net sales worth $9.3 million (7.1 million euro) in 2006, a 30 percent
increase year-on-year. Novensys is Microsoft's main partner in Romania,
and Microsoft Navision accounts for 15 percent of Novensys sales.
Novensys shares are shared by the ICB investment fund, with a 33
percent share package, business people Andrei Stefan Caunii, Cezar
Florin Golumbeanu, Robert Florin Cristea, each with 22 percent, and
George Bogdan Dumitrescu, with one percent of the shares.
