Novensys in Mass Media

Information increasing company profit (MW)

15.11.2008

In an economy standing under pressure of cost increase, on a market that forces reduction of price lists intelligent information can really make the difference between profit and loss or development and bankruptcy. We talked to Romeo Iacob, Sales and Marketing Manager, Novensys about how to efficiently obtain this critical business information.

What solution does Novensys recommend for logistic activities?

Romeo Iacob: Logistic Vision Suite is an integrated solution for logistic activities, dedicated to medium and large enterprises, which allows the management and optimization of the entire supply chain. For small companies, we recommend easy Logistics,  a more basic version, that includes Logistic Vision Suite functionalities. Logistic Vision Suite has reached the third generation and integrates the newest bar code reading technology, radio frequencies and material handling technology to provide complete functionalities for logistics. The solution is based on an open architecture, which allows simple integration with existing information systems, such as enterprise resource planning systems or supply planning systems. It is an integrated, modular solution with a competitive price and with the quality of being highly adaptable to specific business needs.  The Logistic Vision Suite functionalities meet all the requests of logistic activities management in any developing business: warehouse management, distribution management, production management, planning of quality and safety process activities.

How big are the implementation costs of Logistic Vision Suite?

Logistic Vision Suite has an advantageous profitability rate, due to the fact that the first stage only requires low investment and offers quick results, and once the company's business results diversify the possibility is offered to invest in additional functionalities. Furthermore, implementing Logistic Vision Suite doesn't take up very much time and too many significant resources for the company.  The solution has proven its efficiency in retail, manufacturing and distribution on various markets (food and beverages, electronics, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, cables, textiles etc.).

How about the benefits?

Some of the benefits I would list here are: significant improvement in inventory accuracy, automation of warehousing and distribution activities, increase in the level of chargement of warehousing space with possibility of complete goods tracking, from arrival to delivery.  Logistic Vision Suite makes it possible to implement advanced replenishment and ordering politics and real-time, centralized surveillance and control, in order for managers to have access to all the information regarding logistics and inventory planning operations. You can virtually operate with countless logistical attributes (loading, replenishment, stock rotation etc.) benefiting of a real-time architecture provided by a server specialized in radio frequency communication. Thereto, multiple command structures are added to each item (e.g. pallets, boxes, single items), multiple measurement units for each item (pieces, kg, m, l etc.), countless distribution centers and also an adaptable and highly functional interface (user defined favorite objects, menus, custom search list, hyperlinks, shortcuts etc).

Do you offer consultancy for the implementation of these solutions?

We support our customers in every stage of the implementation of a solution for information management, from consultancy to recommending a solution, to implementation or maintenance. According to our philosophy, we turn the well done things into a standard of the solutions we provide our customers and of the attitude that we adopt when approaching any request.  We believe in the power of information and things well done. We approach each project starting from a deep understanding of the business processes involved. We build those solutions that bring certainty and competitive advantages through intelligent information management.

Could you give us a few examples of companies where you implemented Logistic Vision Suite?

In 2006-2008, we implemented the Logistic Vision Suite for Interbrands, Aquila, Delamode and Lekkerland.
